How Do I Run for Public Office?

The City of St. Francis has a Common Council comprised of 6 Alderpersons, each with a 4-year term.  Our Mayor is also elected with a 4-year term, as is our Municipal Judge.

 

When running for municipal offices, the following forms are needed for a resident to begin the process:

Campaign Finance Registration Statement: CF-1

Nomination Papers for Nonpartisan Office:  EL-169

Declaration of Candidacy:  EL-162

Notification of Noncandidacy:  EL-163

Campaign Finance Report - 16 pgs.
