Crossing Guard

The primary responsibility of an adult school crossing guard is to help children safely cross the street as they walk or bicycle to and from school.

Training will be provided.

• Applicants must be a minimum age of eighteen (18) years old.
• Have the ability to perform all required duties of the position including physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time outdoors.
• Vision must be satisfactory in both eyes (correct to 20/30 with glasses), and hearing satisfactory in both ears (hearing aids are allowed).
• Must have a telephone and transportation to your corner.
• Must pass a law enforcement background check including past contacts with law enforcement and criminal background check.
• Must possess good English language skills.
• Good Communication skills.
