USA Triathlon - August 8th

On Saturday, August 8th, 2026 the USA Triathlon will take place with approximately 3,000 bicyclists traveling on streets in St. Francis as it has done in years past.  The roads affected will be closed for the duration of the triathlon and may impact your ability to exit or enter your residence with your vehicle.

*794 northbound - closed 5:30 AM – 12:30 PM

*E. Howard Ave. - closed 5:30 AM - 12:30 PM

*S. Lake Drive –closed 5:30 AM - 12:30 PM

We strongly recommend that you prepare in advance to have your vehicle outside the triathlon road closure route, because you will not be able to travel on the affected roads.  For planning purposes, make sure your vehicle is parked west of S. Lake Drive and south of E. Howard Ave. on a side street, so that you may be escorted on foot across the street to have access to your vehicle.  Parking will be waived the night of the 7^th into the 8^th in the area where the closures are affecting residents.   Plan on the roads to be closed as early as 5:30 AM and as late as 12:30 PM. 

People who reside on S. Lake Drive at Park Shore, The Mariner, The Landing at Park Shore, and 4200 on the Lake will have access to egress north on S. Lake Drive from their parking lot.  All other homes, condominiums and apartment complexes that have driveway access to one of the above streets will not have the ability to leave their driveway with a motor vehicle during the race.
