CURRENT FIREFIGHTER JOB POSTING & INFORMATION

Firefighter-Paramedic candidates are assigned to the Joint Fire Training Academy (JFTA) prior to being assigned to regular duty.  JFTA is a 6-week fire academy held at Wauwatosa Fire Department Station 54.  Candidates from West Allis, Wauwatosa, North Shore, and St. Francis participate in a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare them for a safe, healthy, and successful career in the fire service.
