Mayor

Welcome to St. Francis!  The warmhearted and hard-working people of St. Francis are always working to improve the community where we live and work.  We earnestly welcome you to visit the parks, restaurants, and businesses that make up the City we all proudly call home.

St. Francis is a unique and successful community.  No other city in Wisconsin offers such a small-town atmosphere so close to downtown Milwaukee.  During the summer months, the cool Lake Michigan breezes drift across the “Concerts in the Park” presented by the St. Francis Lions Club, St. Francis Days and the St. Francis Civic Association.  We also have our Police sponsored National Night Out, which took first place, for cities our size, in the State of Wisconsin in 2017.  St. Francis Days rounds out the summer, which is held over Labor Day weekend every year.  We also have the beautiful Nojoshing trail which starts right behind the Civic Center and ends on Lake Drive with views of the Lake.

You can make a difference by becoming a volunteer member of a City committee or commission.  These bodies provide advice to the Common Council and contribute to the development of policies, programs, and initiatives.  The City of St. Francis can benefit greatly from your expertise, enthusiasm, and civic pride.  Get involved and play an active role.

We will continue to build on our proud history with residents who are energized, engaged, and excited for the City’s future.  As a City, we strive to provide our friends and neighbors with efficient, cost-effective services and, as always, a warm welcome here in St. Francis!  Please feel free to contact me via phone, or email with your suggestions at any time.

While this website provides a lot of information, we also have a very competent staff that can help you with inquiries that are more specific.  Contact information is accessible throughout this site for all elected officials and City departments.  I invite you to contact us as needs arise or to answer any of your questions.

Sincerely,
Mayor Ken Tutaj
